UK's Company Law Reform Bill
The UK's Company Law Reform Bill (information available from DTI here)completed the Commons Committee stage late last week.
The reforms contained in the bill are designed to:
-- enhance shareholder engagement;
-- encourage long-term investments; and
-- simplify setting up and running a company.
Draft model articles of association for public companies are available, and the DTI has requested comments on the draft articles.
