The Role of Law in China


Rich Kuslan at Asia Biz Blog has posted a transcript of remarks he made recently at the ABA Section of International Law Conference. Kuslan provides perspective on how the law is viewed by business people in China. The prevailing view is that disputes should be settled on the basis of relationships, friendship and networks, rather than on resort to the letter of the law or the court system.
