More on Coke's Plan
I've blogged previously on Coke's plan to give outside directors incentive compensation, covering my own criticisms of the plan and Graef Crystal's views of the plan.
Additional interesting information is available at GovernanceWatch, which has a good post on empirical data regarding incentive pay for outside directors. Apparently, the market generally frowns on incentive pay plans, but on the whole, outside directors whose pay is incentive-based show greater willingness to boot out the poorly performing CEO.
