COSO's Exposure Draft on Internal Controls at Small Companies

Last month, COSO published its lengthy exposure draft Guidance for Smaller Public Companies Reporting on Internal Control over Financial Reporting. The 200+ page guidance is available for review and comment until December 31. The draft lists 26 areas in which smaller companies face challenges implementing section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. A link to the exposure draft is below:
